Profile Summary

Academics: Ph.D from New Jersey Institute of Technology and UMDNJ, USA.
Research focus is on synthesis and photo-physical characterization of new hyper-sensitive luminescent probes that can be used in variety of biological, medical, and technical applications. Since the probes include multiple functionalities (antenna-fluorophore, chelated lanthanide metal, and crosslinking group) their synthesis is an extremely challenging task. The idea is to explore new strategies to simplify the synthesis protocol of the luminescent probes (whose current price exceeds $10 000 per mg), which would make them more available for the researchers.

Professional Experience: Sr. Research Scientist, Colgate Palmolive Co.
Over 13 years of Research experience in Formulation and Technology development.
