Yong Ju Jung received the Ph.D. degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea, in 2005 under the supervision of Prof. Yong Man Ro, where he was a member of Image Video Systems (IVY) Laboratory. From 2005 to 2010, he was a Principal Research Scientist with Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, contributing to 3D display processing for 3D TV. From 2010 to 2014, he was a Research Associate Professor with Department of Electrical Engineering, KAIST. From 2014 to 2015, he was a Principal Engineer with System LSI division of Samsung Electronics, contributing to the development of dual camera solutions for mobile camera.
Since 2016, he has been an Assistant Professor with Department of Software in Gachon University, South Korea. His current research interests include image/video processing, 3D camera & display processing, computer vision, and human depth perception. Dr. Jung is a member of IEEE and has co-organized special sessions on human 3D perception and 3D video assessments in DSP2011.
