With the construction of smart cities, schools around the country have started a large-scale informatization reform. The redundancy of paper data and the complexity of management make the "student information management system" become one of the key concerns of school information reform, and it has important practical significance to conduct indepth research on it. This paper studies a kind of student information management system which realizes back-end operation based on database and adopts the technology of front and back end separation. The characteristics of the system are simple page, cheap operation and practical function. This paper also analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the system design in detail, describes the database design of the system and the realization of the specific functions of the information management system.
