We propose a Demand-Sensitive Hierarchical Task Offloading (DS-HTO) method to optimize the latency, spectrum occupation ratio, and resource utilization ratio in Collaborative Cloud-Edge Elastic Optical Networks (CCE-EONs). Compared to the existing task offloading methods, the simulation results show that the proposed DS-HTO method can reduce network latency and spectrum occupation and improve resource utilization in CCE-EONs.
