Profile Summary

Mohammad Amin Tadayon received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2004, and his M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2007. From 2005 to 2009, he held industry positions in Iran where he worked in the field of design, analysis, and manufacturing of electromechanical systems. Afterward, he worked as a research fellow at the University of Oslo for 8 months. Since Sept. 2009, he has worked toward his Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, Minneapolis, MN. His research interests include developing optical microdevices for biomedical applications and using micro/nanofabrication techniques for making optical/mechanical devices.
