A new 24-way waveguide dividing and combining integrative network including two parts which could be conjoint with 24 waveguide-port solid-state amplifier modules that 2 MMICs (2W) are combined in every module, the first part is the 24-way divider, and the second part is the 24-way combiner. Besides of the electromagnetic power combining function, another important useful function of the integrative network is that it can provide a thermal channel for the 24 solid-state amplifier modules with a mass of heat. The insertion loss of the back to back of the 24-way waveguide dividing and combining integrative network is about 2dB in the whole band, which implies that the average insertion loss of the combiner in the network is about 1dB, and can allow for the overall power–combining efficiency to remain high, 80% over X.5-Y.5GHz. By using 24 solid-state amplifier modules combining can produce greater than 58W output power (the biggest power is 81W), and the active power–combining efficiency is about 76%.
