Doug Parker has over 30 years of experience in the interconnection industry as a project engineer, program manager and field application engineer. His experience in research and development and in product application has been in fiber optic and electrical connectors. Doug holds 4 patents in fiber optic connector and tooling areas. He has presented numerous papers relaying technological advances and chaired sessions at many symposiums and technical conferences including ECSG/IICIT, NEPCON, IEEE/AVFOP, COTS-CON, DoD MIL-STD-1760, SPIE and JSWAG. His technical papers have been published in Connector Specifier, The High-Tech News and other periodicals. He has taught fiber optic basics seminars for Greenlee-Textron, IICIT, IWCS. He has been chairman of EIA fiber optic tools and instruments committee and the SAE fiber optic avionics subcommittee AS-3C3 on beginning of life cable assemblies. Member IEEE, ASME, SAE, ECIA, and ARINC.
