Profile Summary

Currently I'm in the graduate school years of M.D./Ph.D. training, trying to reconcile how knowledge in the minutia of Matlab can amount to something clinically relevant many, many years from now. Also reconciling how I spend far more time with mice than with guitars or fishing poles. Albeit, science in Andy Shih's lab is great fun. Two photon microscopy is a nice intersection of "hard" sciences like physics and inorganic chemistry--which I did more of in undergraduate work--with the life sciences. I love collaborations because it brings the focus away from mice for a few minutes and back to people. Would love to meet and chat.
