My name is Christina Jones, and I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in December of 2010 with a B.S. in Engineering Physics and minors in Electrical Engineering and Applied Math. In my spare time, I enjoy salsa dancing and volunteering for engineering and science outreach events such as Nanocamp, which teaches K-12 students about nanoscience, and Math Olympiad with 3-5th grade students, which helps young students become excited about math and its applications. I am currently in the Applied Physics PhD Program at the University of Michigan. My research interests lie in energy-related devices, particularly solar cells and energy-efficient lighting.

I was awarded the Rackham Merit Fellowship by the University of Michigan and a $3000 Scholarship by SPIE in 2011. In 2012, I was awarded a $2000 scholarship by SPIE.
