Abstract
A real device for optimal broadband signal processing is described. The device handles signals of short and long duration and operates at the real time scale. It has been manufactured with the usage of the integro-optical technology for forming the acousto-optical element. The device includes an additional chirp generator and delay line on SAW. It can operate in the modes of mutual correlation function determination, two signals convolution, and broadband or high resolution spectrum analysis. The possible areas for its application are discussed.
