Abstract
Diabetes is a metabolic chronic disease with a high mortality worldwide and it is difficult to be completely cured. With the development of science and technology in recent years, people's quality of life has gradually improved, and there are an increasing number of restaurants on the market. Based on this circumstance, under the influence of quite a few factors, the obesity rate of teenagers in the world is increasing year by year. Much literature has proved the harm contributed to obesity and its complications. Considering that adolescence is an important stage for teenagers' growth and development and character building, it is of practical significance to adopt non-drug therapy. Above all, protection of teenagers lies in using a diet like low-fat diet to prevent obesity, rather than treating it after the onset of the disease. Therefore, this review discusses what low-fat diet is, how to apply low-fat diet to life and be accepted by teenagers, and the role of all sectors of society in it. Its purpose is to adopt low-fat diet to regulate the obesity rate of teenagers, to diminish the incidence of type 2 diabetes, and to provide a reference for the healthy growth of teenagers in the world.
