Abstract
Concrete face rockfill dam is one of the most competitive dam types. Compared with traditional earth-rockfill dams, concrete face rockfill dams have low cost, short construction period, and better adaptability to geological conditions. Taking an actual dam project as an example, a three-dimensional model is established to calculate and analyze the seepage of fractures under various conditions such as different damage locations and different water pressures, and then obtain the law of each seepage factor. The analysis results show that the damage near the bottom of the panel poses a greater threat to the seepage safety of the dam, and more attention needs to be paid to the monitoring and protection of the bottom of the panel. With the increase of water pressure, the seepage head in the dam increases. The upstream water level has the most obvious impact on the seepage in the early stage of the dam. When the water level just begins to rise, attention should be paid to the safety and protection of the dam. There is no obvious influence between the location of the fracture and the action of the reservoir water level.
