Abstract
Taking 40 towns in Yancheng City as sample cases, this paper discusses the multiple concurrent factors and complex causal mechanisms that affect the high-quality development of towns by using fsQCA method. Based on the five antecedents of industrial development, personal income, ecological governance, party building and life experience, the driving path of high-quality development of towns is obtained. The results show that there are two types of "Party Building*Personal Income" and "Party Building*Ecological Governance", and there are four configuration paths in total. Among them, party building, personal income and ecological governance are the core conditions, which have a significant driving effect on the high-quality development of towns in the region. This research conclusion provides decision support for other towns to implement high-quality operation.
