The novel coronavirus pneumonia sweeps the globe, causing a great impact on the whole human life. As the increase of
the number of isolated infections at home, the new requirements of epidemic prevention for the functional design of
residence have been put forward. Urban residential space has been analyzed from the perspective of epidemic prevention
for the epidemic prevention problems in the paper to try to explore the new method of urban residential space design,
which provides reference for the design of urban residential space under the guidance of epidemic prevention and
control.
