Profile Summary

Nuno Silva received his degree in physics from the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal, and his M.Sc. degree in physics from the University of Aveiro in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In 2013 he received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at University of Aveiro.
He joined the Instituto de Telecomunicações in 2007, where he is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Optical Communications and Photonics Group, where he has been participating in several R&D projects.
His current main interests of research include nonlinear, polarization, and quantum effects in optical fibers.
