I have worked on scheduling and operations software with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey since 2015, first as a graduate student and now as a research scientist. My primary responsibility is survey scheduling. In practice this means I work closely with our observers and science teams to coordinate priorities and ensure data quality, in addition to closely monitoring nightly progress. As a product owner, and Linux enthusiast, I also take an active role in server management.
