Profile Summary

Darren Roblyer received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2004, and received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Rice University in 2009. He was a Department of Defense Postdoctoral Fellow at the Beckman Laser Institute at the University of California, Irvine studying under Professor Bruce Tromberg prior to joining the faculty at Boston University in 2012. He is currently an associate professor in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering as well as Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University. His research is focused on the development of diffuse optical spectroscopy and optical microscopy techniques for pre-clinical and clinical applications.
