As a post-doctoral fellow in the Optics & Photonics Lab, University of Michigan,I am investigating a newly discovered magneto-electric phenomena and family of non-linearities that is expected to enable conversion of solar energy to electric power, in various materials. My PhD work involved highly interdisciplinary research from investigation of diffusive behavior of micro-particles in confined geometry to design, optimization and fabrication of plasmonic devices which has the potential to become a global technology in future for integration of photonics with electronics .
