Optimized Measurement of Gaps
Abstract
There are many reasons to measure the gap and flushness of two surfaces. When assembling two parts to form a larger part, ensuring a continuous surface may be a functional consideration. But just as the reasons to have a good fit are many, the challenges of measuring that fit are also many.
