Abstract
We now consider the MTF contributions arising from image motion, image vibration, atmospheric turbulence, and aerosol scattering. We present a first-order analysis of these additional contributions to the system MTF. Our heuristic approach provides a back-of-the-envelope estimate for the imagequality impact of these effects, and a starting point for more advanced analyses.
