Abstract
Very Long Baseline Atom Interferometry (VLBAI) enables ground-based inertial sensing with largest scale factors. Combined with control over noise sources and systematic effects, VLBAI holds the potential for unprecedented tests of fundamental physics in the domains of gravity, quantum mechanics, and at their interface, as well as for new frontiers in Earth observation, e.g., by operating the system as a higher order absolute gravity reference station. In this contribution we will discuss recent developments and future prospects of the Hannover VLBAI facility.
