Abstract
Space-time modulation has attracted significant attention in recent years, both from the fundamental science point of view as well as due to potential applications (e.g., optical isolators). In this talk I will point to similarities of modulating in space and time as well to the differences, most important from the power consumption point of view. Also, the relation between time reflection and time crystals and optical parametric processes will be considered.
