Abstract
The Model 324 Advanced Technology RPV system was designed and developed to carry a 250 'pound reconnaissance payload over a 1400 nautical mile range at speeds of 0.8 Mach plus. The stability of flight, non ell, issive navigation and autonoHous flight via microprocessor mission logic control unit on-board computer system make the vehicle a true "reconnaissance platform". This paper explores the vehicle from concept through flight test collpletion and includes a discussion of payload consideration for unmanned vehicles.
