Abstract
A scanning approach using fringe projection techniques to perform the 3D profile measurement for a non-diffusive object is proposed. It employs a hologram as the fringe projection device. Even though the inspected object is nondiffusive, the proposed method can retrieve the 3D shape precisely. Surfaces with depth discontinuities can be retrieved very well.
