Abstract
Radiofrequency components such as antennas, transmission lines, phased arrays, frequency-selective surfaces, reflectarrays and meanderline waveplates can be made to operate in the infrared using electron-beam lithography. Prof. Wolfe’s visionary leadership in the rather unique niche of “academic infrared” has been a source of inspiration to me throughout my career.
