Abstract
A laboratory calibration method for transmissometer is proposed. It takes advantage of numerical simulation to evaluate the precision of calibration method. The numerical simulation is coded taking advantage of matlab. The calibration errors of different visibility is studied. And the influence of turbulence to calibration of transmissometer is studied.
