Abstract
The imaging ladar provides precise and accurate 3D information. In addition, it is independent from external lighting conditions. On the other side, visible image has high resolution, color information and texture-maps. Through fusing the ladar image and visible image in effect, we can get a 3D and color image, which is in favor of image processing. This thesis describes a particular system to solve the image fusing problem. First, measure error of the ladar was revised in this paper. Then, corresponding relationship of the ladar image and visible image was obtained by a method of camera calibration. The ladar image and visible image were fused by the technology of texture mapping in the end. The result of experiment demonstrate that this method of image fusion is workable and efficient.
