Abstract
Parallel rendering based on a cluster is an effective method to improve the performance and resolution of graphics system, while frame synchronization is the core issue during parallel rendering. This paper puts forward a type of frame synchronization method applicable for large-scale dynamic complex scene parallel rendering system, which adopts dynamic adaptive control of frame frequency to realize AIAMD concept of congestion control, namely mixed additive increase and multiplicative decrease (i.e. AIMD), as well as additive increase and additive decrease (i.e. AIAD). Then it achieves synchronous output and display of cluster computer frame according to the conditions of network between rendering nodes and display nodes, as well as scene rendering of rendering nodes. The experimental results show that, this frame synchronization method is better than some other program-level synchronous control methods.
