Abstract
We propose and demonstrate true demodulation of 40Gbit/s NRZ-DPSK signals using cascaded second-order nonlinearities in a PPLN waveguide. All-optical 40Gbit/s ODB-to-NRZ and AMI-to-RZ format conversions are achieved in the experiment.
