Abstract
We propose a model of distribution of angular deviation of large particles orientation in a crystal cloud from the horizontal position of their big diameters in the process of their fall due to gravity. A single-parameter distribution of particles over angles of orientation is obtained. The distribution parameter is shown to be dependent on the particle size and the rate of energy dissipation in the turbulence cells. The dependence turns out to be much stronger than those in models proposed earlier.
