In order to attract the interest for the physical sciences to secondary students to initiate university studies, the Faculty of
Physics of the University of Barcelona has begun a project which consists of the presentation of science in an attractive way by means of carefully chosen demonstrations and experiments and a suitable ambiance of communication. In this paper the details of the organization of the activities, which are based on experiments, mainly related to optics
phenomena.
