Abstract
Thermal-induced release of sulforhodamine dye from laser-irradiated diphosphatidylcholine liposomes occurs during a gel-liquid crystal phase transition process and has important ramifications for targeted photodynamic therapy protocols for the treatment of a variety of diseases.
