Abstract
Two beam amplitude division interferometers with lateral and/or slightly rotating tilt and negligible aberrations illuminated by a quasi-monochromatic periodic source yield multiple localization planes at both sides of the classical one. If the radiation is non-monochromatic, the classical localization plane is almost the same for every color but the non-classical ones split. Theoretical and experimental results for the Wollaton prism, both for quasi-monochromatic and white radiations, are given.
