Abstract
The results of the tests for the second harmonic generation in powders of halogenosubstituted nitrodiphenyls are presented. The 4,4'-iodine-nitrodiphenyl single crystals have been grown from a solution, their linear and nonlinear optical characteristics have been measured. The Miller's constant for this crystal is one of the largest among investigated as far as we know.
