Abstract
This paper presents the cooperation of optical flow and contour correspondence modules for motion and structure estimation. It enables us to overcome a certain number of problems associated to the separate use of each of the modules, by integrating complementary information. In this hybrid scheme our novelty consists of: (1) simultaneous use of several regions; for each of them the whole region and its boundary are considered as well and (2) introduction of a new iterative scheme induced by the cooperative concept.
