Abstract
In this paper, we introduce the updated polygonal representation method for coding binary shape information. The geometric representation method supports a wide range of the requirements for natural and synthetic video. In addition to providing high coding efficiency, this method is unique in its effectiveness at addressing a number of other requirements. These unique capabilities are due to its geometric nature, its inherent bitstream scalabilities, and its highly-efficient intra coding more. And, we can obtain noticeable improvement in terms of objective and subjective quality by applying some algorithms.
