Abstract

The study analyses the observation range and its dependence both on the construction of the apparatus and on the other factors free of it. There are specified these factors and there is presented the algorithm of the observation range estimation. This algorithm was elaborated in order to take into account the influence of all these factors. There is also presented an example for using the algorithm to analyze the performance of an apparatus.
