Abstract

Data on the solubility of fluoranthene in some halogen derivatives solvents, nucleation parameters ((Delta) T_MET, (tau) ), and the relation between morphology of obtained crystals and their growth conditions (type of solutions, (sigma) _G, T_G) have been determined experimentally. Moreover, the enthalpy of dissolution ((Delta) H^S), enthalpy of mixing ((Delta) H^M), and activity coefficient ((gamma) _g^exp) of investigated solutions have been calculated and compared with the growth results.
