CARM's[1] are attractive sources for applications such as electron cyclotron resonance heating (ECRH) of fusion plas- mas and driving high gradient RF accelerators. For ECRH applications oscillators in the 140-280 GHz range with high average power (>1 MW) are required. For accelerator driver applications, amplifiers or phased-locked oscillators at frequencies in the 11-33 GHz range with high-peak power (>100 MW) are required. In this paper, results of two dif- ferent MW-power-level CARM experiments are presented: a 28 GHz long-pulse (lps) Bragg oscillator experiment and a 17 GHz short-pulse (50 ns) amplifier experiment.
