- the first Automatic Data Processing (ADP1) uses a one dimensional Fourier transform applied on signals extracted from the image. ADP1 creates a longer signal by joining series of parallel lines together in order to reduce errors. Manual and numerical results are identical. - the second Automatic Data Processing (ADP2) utilizes a two dimensional Fourier transform coupled with an appropriate spectral interpolation. This procedure is less sensitive to the image quality. So, non detectable manual displacement can be obtained by this process. |
