Abstract
Cryosurgical ablation of the prostate is a technique that has been enhanced by recent technological advances such as transrectal ultrasonography and fiber optics. Preliminary information suggests that it can be performed safely with less morbidity than the literature previously records. Our preliminary results consist of six patients.
