Abstract
A compact, low coupling multi-input multi-output antenna is presented in this paper. The overall dimensions of the antenna are 28mm × 22mm × 1.6mm, and the antenna is made up of two radiating elements. The front of the antenna is composed of a "knife and fork" patch and a rectangular microstrip feed line; The rear face of the antenna is formed from a defective ground structure, which is etched on the ground. The antenna, on the other hand, employs a defective ground structure with two symmetric rectangular slots etched into the ground and has a common T-shape ground structure to achieve high antenna isolation. In conclusion, the terminal antenna's impedance bandwidth measures 3.07 ~ 13.49GHz, its relative bandwidth is 125%, its in-band isolation surpasses 16dB, and its ECC is less than 0.004. Because of this, the UWB-MIMO antenna is appropriate for UWB-MIMO wireless communication and has good radiation efficiency and a small ECC.
