Abstract
Hummingbird E203, as a commonly used processor based on the RISC-V architecture, possesses excellent performance and extensive applications. Addressing the scarcity of applications in developing game for the Hummingbird E203, we have developed a 2048 game. This paper provides a detailed overview of the game's design and implementation process. The DDR200T FPGA customized for the Hummingbird E203 processor serves as the control core, with extensions including a DWin serial screen and a PS2 joystick module. The game was programmed in C language. The display of game graphics and basic game operation are achieved with the DWin serial screen and PS2 joystick. After comprehensive system-level debugging, the control was smooth, and no erroneous data was generated, affirming the feasibility and effectiveness of developing games based on RISC-V. This approach has potential applications in entertainment, education, and technical demonstrations
