Abstract
Open direct drive wind turbine virtual simulation system can be used for experimental teaching and training. This paper briefly describes the status quo of virtual simulation experiment and the necessity of researching the simulation experiment system of direct drive wind turbine. The wind model, wind turbine model, generator model, converter model, booster station model, monitoring system, 3D display interface, equipment display and operation interface of direct drive wind turbine simulation system are described, and the functions of simulation system are discussed.
