Abstract
VSG control is a vital means to address the insufficiency of grid-supporting capabilities of new energy equipment. This paper takes the direct-drive wind turbine under VSG control as the research object, firstly introduces the mathematical model of the grid-connected inverter briefly, then analyzes the active power response characteristics through theoretical derivation, and finally verifies it with simulation examples. The research results show that the parameters D and J in VSG control respectively cause active power response characteristics similar to the droop characteristic and inertia support of synchronous machines, and their ratio affects the stability of the control system. This finding is of great significance for optimizing VSG control parameters and enhancing the stability of the power system.
