This talk overviews recent results on the charge carrier transport studies in highly-ordered (crystalline) organic and perovskite semiconductor devices using a powerful combination of high-resolution ac-Hall effect and transistor measurements. A few particular examples, where new understanding has been gained, will be considered, including the Hall effect in high-performance polycrystalline organic transistors, the intrinsic mobility-strain relationship in flexible single crystalline organic transistors, the photo-Hall effect measurements in organic crystals revealing new aspects of photoconductivity, and finally high-resolution ac-Hall measurements in epitaxial crystalline perovskite transistors.
