Abstract
The purpose of this experiment is to study the mechanical properties of basalt fiber bar in tensile test. Tensile tests were carried out on basalt fiber bars using a universal material testing machine, and parameters such as Stress–strain curve and fracture strength were recorded. The tensile force, deformation, displacement, expansion, stress and strain of the basalt fiber bar were recorded under the environment of room temperature, humidity and air pressure. The experimental results show that the basalt fiber bar has high tensile strength and elastic modulus, and is suitable for strengthening and reinforcing concrete structures.
