Abstract
Because of the growing environmental problems, environmental protection has become the trend of the world. As one of the most popular and important industries, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) has been seeking for methods to reduce pollution. In this paper, a general review of the ways EEE contributes to environmental protection is carried out: Electrical and electronic products (robotic applications), in which several products related to EEE that directly serve environmental protection are introduced. Replacing traditional solutions, such as vehicles including automobiles and aircraft with clearer electric solutions. Cleaner ways of electricity production deal with the pollution caused by the EEE industry itself. And the recycling of e-components, including recycling methods and related policies. This paper also discusses the social atmosphere and policy that affect EEE and the future development of EEE in the current society.
