Abstract
In recent years, with advancements in technology and improvements in hardware performance, virtual reality (VR) technology has been widely applied. optimizing elements within VR scenes can help ensure stable operation and enhance the user experience. Through the use of the QEM algorithm, this article optimizes the models in the scene, reducing the number of polygons and further improving the smoothness of rendering and user experience. Research results prove that the QEM-based optimization LOD technique is a highly applicable model optimization method in virtual reality application development. This method not only reduces device resource consumption but also enhances application performance and user experience, effectively lowering development costs.
