Abstract
In modern communication intensive networks, different transmission schemes have an important influence on the network transmission performance. Choosing a suitable transmission scheme can improve the efficiency and reliability of network transmission, and then improve the quality of network application and user experience. Therefore, it is of great significance to study and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of various transmission schemes and put forward corresponding optimization strategies. In this study, three transmission schemes, FTP upload, HTTP upload and UDP upload, are tested and compared in a large-scale communication intensive network. The test involves three aspects: upload speed, transmission time and data reliability. The authors tested in different network environments through the communication intensive network testing tool. The experimental results show that different transmission schemes have great differences in performance. UDP upload scheme has the best performance in upload speed, with an average upload speed of 23.81 Mbps, but the data reliability is poor, with an average data transmission reliability of only 88.3%. FTP upload scheme is the best in data reliability, with an average data transmission reliability of 99.2%, but the upload speed and transmission time are relatively slow, with an average upload speed of 8.57 Mbps and an average transmission time of 68.14 seconds. The HTTP upload scheme performs well in upload speed and transmission time, with an average upload speed of 12.79 Mbps and an average transmission time of 42.81 seconds, but the data reliability is only 98.6%. In practical application, the transmission efficiency and reliability can be further improved by adopting technical means such as bandwidth limitation and data compression.
